Be
Brave !
For
years, we are educated by the school system to have learn and have input that being pre determine
structure with what being logically deem suitable for our growth ecamedically. Our family system conditions us on
moral compass and character and personality based on our family genetic
make-up. Our country teaches us how to live in the so call environment that not
only safe and full of opportunity.
One glance, we are all provided for
us to grow to what we call of what we are today. But do you ever wonder, is
that what we are? Is this what we really want or Am I what I am to be?
As we mature, I notice many will
kind of reaching a cross road of uncertainty. Uncertain of what is install for
them? Uncertain of what really is life, after all we did the same thing day after
day but in different scenario only. From young, we wake up and go to school,
follow all the rule, politely mixing around with friends, sturdy earnest or
loggerhead with teacher, strive more as we move forward from kindergarten to
university. As we entered the workforce, we still wake up early, learn as much
as possible in our job, politely mixing around with our colleague and bosses
and now we shoulder more responsibility as
“we” now grow to “us” and repeat the same agenda that we are exposed off
before but now to the next generation.
So what happened if you have a great
family, excellent job, and a lifestyle that is the envy of everyone. Is that
all we are? Where we are heading after this? Are we truly satisfied and
contended? Are we bored? Are we feeling lost?
If you are having all these weird
feeling about yourself, congratulation, as finally you are waking up and paying
attention to yourself as all these while, we are condition to learn, listen and
see what is being “prepared and presented” in a form of hypnosis to us.
Are you ready to just sit down and
think about yourself? Reflect on your childhood, think about what kind of games
you play with your neighbor, try to recall you conversation with your friends
then, did you listen or whispered your secret and what make you happy. Bring
out the memories of your time with your family, your outing and chatting with
your parents. Did you shares your thoughts and feel with any members of your
family. Did you detect changes from your reflection? Did any of the changes
hidden somewhere while in pursuit your life? Are you ready to challenge what
you already used to for something that is not tested?
This remains a million dollar
question as all of us will never know “what if” we change from this to that,
but the ultimate answer to this question is “finally I know the answer!”
It is easy say then done as most people will
tell you, how if we fail? How it did not turn out the way we think it would?
Again this million dollar question will nothave the answer as long as we sit
down and contemplate it and become only what we call, the NATO Chairman …. No
action Talk Only….
“Change” is a frightening word, as
it did not come with a congratulatory note for your comfort but it will always
be an enlightening journey of experience for each of us in a different context.
To me, the million dollars question has always remained that are we willing to
take the first step toward the path that is on the opposite?
Stepping forward to the unknown take
courage. Courage to put aside first our mental blockage of fear. We were taught
from young to fear the dark, fear the stranger, fear of failure, fear of
everything that we actually or might not fear at all.
Yes, we might stumble and fall as we
are stepping onto unaccustomed territory which might comes with potholes and
bobby trap, but we can always put on our thinking cap and slowly map out the
path and enjoy the scene as we slowly walk down this route that we never taken
before. Yeah, after years travelling on a highway now probably we need to climb
some hill and track the valley, but we gain different set of experience that
might bring valuable lesson and unforgettable encounter to you.
We are the director of our own
blockbuster movie … Be bold and brave now and direct that sold out masterpiece……
